||Crossview 3D is a first-of-its-kind
book to teach and promote the best way to enjoy 3-dimensional
printed imagery. It features great 3D images, no colors sacrificed,
and no viewer is required but it helps to have one like our 3DH2O viewer.
Employed by 3-D image makers for many years, crossviewing
is yoga for the eyes, a technique in which one trains oneself to
converge and hold a "stereo pair" of images into a single 3-D
image via relaxation and control. More

and are treasured by countless collectors all over the world. We have been
sold out of this book from 2005 until 2013 but came upon a few more copies
after the recent passing of Dr. Lorenz. More

The 1906 San Francisco Earthquake & Fire in 3-D
Stereo Views of San Francisco's Great Earthquake and Fire.April
18th marks the 100th anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and
Fire. Countless books have been written on this compelling subject. Yet,
until now, there has never been a full-color “coffee-table” book about
California’s greatest natural disaster, let alone one that features 3-D
images of the catastrophe. 1906 San Francisco comes to life in this
unique collection of over 100 original stereo photographs (viewer
included) of the “City-By-The-Bay.” These haunting 3-D images were
created before, during, and after the earthquake and fire that destroyed
508 city blocks and left 200,000 homeless. Accompanied by firsthand
accounts, newspapers, maps, and lithographs, they re-create San
Francisco’s great calamity and indomitable spirit with stunning realism.
