Frank
Lloyd Wright: 3 Houses
In a career spanning eight decades, architect Frank Lloyd Wright completed
over 500 built projects. Of the 400 that survive, 285 are houses, providing a
record of the architect's evolving ideas and stylistic shifts in the most
compact and personal of building types. This packet of 21 full-color,
three-dimension images in the View-Master format features 3 residential projects
by the architect in diverse geographic locations: the Herbert F. Johnson House,
known as Wingspread (Wind Point, Wisconsin, 1937); the Stevens House on
Auldbrass Plantation in Yemassee, South Carolina (1940); and the Harold Price,
Sr. House in Phoenix, Arizona (1954). Included are interior and exterior views
of the houses, along with a descriptive essay on Wright's residential work.
