Wired Remote for Stereo Flash Photography with Twin SLR Cameras

Introduction: The SLR Shepherd is a hand-held wired remote for stereo photography with twin SLR cameras. The cameras can be digital or film. An internal microprocessor reads shutter sync using the strobe output from both cameras, displays the shutter sync, provides control of shutter release to achieve optimal shutter sync, and controls an external flash for optimal flash sync.

Displays shutter sync in msec and fractional seconds.
Automatic or manual control of flash contact time.
Flash output control for first or second curtain flash timing.
Protects camera from high voltage flash units.
Long life internal lithium battery power.
Custom cables to cameras made to order.

Compatible Cameras: Compatible cameras have support for an external wired shutter switch and an external flash. Cameras with only wireless/infrared remote control, or only control through a serial, USB, or Firewire port are not compatible (for example Nikon D50 and D70 are not compatible, but the D70s is compatible). Compatible cameras include but are not limited to the following:

Canon Digital: 300D/Rebel, 350D/Rebel XT, 400D/Rebel XTi, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, D60, 1D, 1Ds, 5D.
Canon Film: Rebel T2, EOS-3, EOS-V1
Nikon Digital: D1, D1H, D1X, D2H, D2Hs, D2X, D3, D70s, D100 (with battery pack), D200, D300.
Nikon Film: FM3A, F100, F5, F6.
Pentax Digital: *ist D, *ist DS, *ist DS2, *ist DL, K10D, K100D, K110D.
Pentax Film: *ist, ZX-L, ZX-M.
Fuji Digital: S3.
Kodak Digital: DCS Pro SLR/n, DCS Pro 14n.
Konica Minolta Digital: 5D, 7D.
Sony Digital: Alpha DSLR-A100, Alpha DSLR-A700.
Olympus Digital: E-1, E-10, E-20, E-300 with battery holder.

Compatible Flash Units: Flash or wireless trigger with a regular two conductor sync cord connection. Examples include but are not limited to hotshoe, PC, household, and PocketWizard wireless. The SLR Shepherd provides high voltage protection for the cameras, so an older high voltage flash system can be used without an additional protection device. The SLR Shepherd does not support at this time TTL flash mode.
