Stereoscopic and Anaglyph Images Made Easy
Gerald William Hoos, a Professional photographer for over 40 years, has put
together a very basic guide for 2D photographers interested in expanding their
knowledge of 3D Stereoscopic and Anaglyph techniques.
The guide offers a background and introduction to 3D photography and its
advantages over 2D photos. It is divided into around 8 2 or 3-page sections to make
the use of the guide simple. The cover is an anaglyph, which can be viewed in 3D
using the glasses supplied with the book. The guide also has a sample
stereoscopic images and a pop-open stereoscopic viewer. Sections include what
you will need, tips, step-by-step guide for taking the image pairs, creating
stereoscopic and anaglyphs images in the computer, and going beyond the basics
including advance tips on black and white 3D and information on the visual
presentation.
The guide comes in a heavy-duty binder. The book includes a folding viewer and anaglyph glasses shown
above. It assumes a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
