Available Light Stereo Slide Viewers

These viewers are made of high quality plastic and are inexpensive enough to allow you to share your stereo slides with friends.  

Radex Viewer

The "Realist format" viewer will view stereo slides from Nimslo (half-frame), Realist, and European format.  

New "Milky White" Radex Viewer

Same as above made entirely (except for the lens of course) with a white translucent plastic that lets in light.  These are used by people who print their stereo images on small cards the same size as a realist mount.  The incidental light allows the image to be seen.  It can also be used by stamp collectors to spot small printing offsets in otherwise identical pairs of stamps.  Many two-color stamps issued in the 50s and before were made with two press runs, and a pair of them could give a 3D effect.

2 x 2 Radex Viewer

The two by two version of the Radex viewer allows for easy viewing of separately mounted 2 x 2 slides.  This works for use with a twin-camera set-up, a slide bar, or a full frame stereo camera (RBT...).  If you would like a 2 x 2 viewer with an interocular adjustment please see the PinSharp.
